DeKalb County’s Past

The DeKalb County, Tennessee Historical Association will partner closely with interested individuals and grassroots projects to expand and enrich the county’s historical resources. Chaired by the County Historian, this collaborative effort will focus on preserving, protecting, and archiving DeKalb’s past. A primary goal is to establish the county’s first museum, providing a permanent space to showcase its rich heritage. Through these collective initiatives and ongoing opportunities, the Association aims to cement a lasting legacy of history, heritage, and community stewardship.
